I was absolutely delighted to hear that Barra the Squirrel became a talking point in one Perth Primary School.  The P1 class, with their lovely teacher, read it together and discussed the main themes.  If being bullied, speaking to an appropriate adult was top of their list and brought about some interesting points.  Friendships and acceptance of others were then discussed.  All within the context of how unique we all are.  As it was all raised through the little book, it was done to suit such a young age group.
